During our visit to Van Buren County from Colorado, we stumbled upon this cute little place in Milton. The Hunny Hole is a clean, modern, "cabin-ish" establishment with warm hearted and super polite service. Food was tasty and affordable, plus the glass of wine hit the spot! We would definitely return.

When I first saw this new place located off hwy2 in southeast iowa I was happy to find it. Not much in this part of Iowa . The food is home style and lots of it. That's how it's done here. You won't leave hungry. Has everything - breakfast lunch dinner drinks. Just a short exit off hwy 2 in downtown Milton, Iowa

Be sure to stop here if you're in Van Buren County, Iowa. Excellent food, great service in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. The Wednesday night chicken dinner is not to be missed... moist crispy chicken served with hot gravy and a biscuit. Try the homemade French fries at lunch or a slice of one of the delicious pies.... will keep you coming back for more.

This is a great place to stop and have a wonderful eating experience! The place is warm with wood ceilings a cabin, woodsy feel. The walleye I had was light, flaky and more than enough, including a salad bar that was clean and fresh and other sides. Others at our table had the Iowa chop, Reuben, Ribeye, BYOB(Build your own burger), BLT on Texas Toast and the daily special of lasagna. My nephew tells me they have the best pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast, ever! . I would recommend anyone going by on Hwy 2, stop and check it out! Will definitely be back.

The feelings u get when you go in is like your are un wanted there it like you walked in uninvited very outward feeling food is not really good at all sometimes they have band or family members sing they suck ass dont go its a waste of time and money!!
